SPAGHETTI-SHRIMP-CHORIZO is a perfect wholesome, nutritious and
satisfying meal that is specially prepared for the malnourished.
Malnutrition as we all know, affects the body’s ability to stay healthy
and fight infection. This tasty dish contains all the necessary
nutrients (iron, vitamin B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E, protein) that help
nourish the body and prevent malnutrition.
The basic ingredients that are used for the preparation of this
dish are spaghetti, sausage, shrimps and vegetables (tomatoes, pepper,
onion, garlic). These vegetables are loaded with health-protective
antioxidants such as lycopene, vitamin C, and vitamin A.
Studies have shown that regular consumption of these vegetables
promotes healthy living and prevents many diseases. Shrimps and sausage
supply high quality protein, essential vitamins and other nutrients with
high biological value. Protein helps to build and repair body tissues,
carry nutrients throughout the body, create new cells, maintain fluid
balance, helps in formation of antibodies and in growth and development.
Spaghetti-shrimp-chorizo is, therefore, an ideal food for the
malnourished. It is also good for children for their maximum growth and
development, and pregnant women to help prevent birth defects and for
successful pregnancy.
The sick and those recovering from illness can benefit from this delicious meal as it can help in quick recovery.
